Springus Interuptus. Everyone has been doing rain dances and they appear to have been successful. Every year they are successful – this area is the rainiest in Andalucia. Although cold Atlantic mists have turned everything green and lush (the ground squelches and the asparagus is up to my armpits) there has not been a single drop of rain since Christmas. To counteract the long, dry, scorching summer, plenty is needed. So bring it on . . . I suppose.
