Coatimundi Day

This Coatimundi – pizote – spent a month watching me from behind a frond on the forest edge before coming to investigate. He now passes daily on his way to the palm nuts or carambola trees. ┬áMales are solitary and territorial; there’s competition for this patch, and he’s the underdog.
